It worked for this portly plumber and now its magic seems to have taken ahold of the Sens. With 4 points over the last 3 games against some tough competition, it maybe too soon to say the tides have turned, however, it seems the team is buying into the new system and it has begun to pay dividends.
Foligno, Spezza, Winchester and Alfie each contributed a goal. But the real news is just how great Ruutu was at bugging the shit out of the Rangers. Not only did he draw 2 Rangers into dropping the mitts and pounding away on his ever smiling face, he was directly involved with 3 of the 4 goals (drawing a penalty, interfering with the goalie, and hitting Foligno's skate with the puck).
Hopefully now that the losing streak is over, fans can stop worrying about a trade.
