The New York Islanders scored 4 goals tonight to beat the Ottawa Senators in a lackluster performance. Danny Heatley and Daniel Alfredsson each contributed a goal in the losing effort. Senate's Note: Although the senators are being hit with the injury bug, they still had all their top 6 forwards and top 4 defencemen, so there are no excuses for tonight's loss. Overall it was an inexcusable loss.
