Mats Sundin has begun to narrow down his choices and Ottawa did not make the list. No big surprise here. The Ottawa Sun had been hoping for some time that he would come to play for the Senators, but it largely made no sense for him to want to come here.
Senate's Note: I am glad that this puts to rest the rumours and speculation with regards to Sundin coming to Ottawa. I was tired of hearing the Sundin rumours back in August, and it has only gotten worse since then. Hopefully all that time working for Poker Stars has slowed down his game, and any team that obtains his services gets a lame-duck Mats Sundin! (I despise when players skip training camp and the grind of the regular season to go on a cup run)
