Nothing new is being written in the Ottawa Citizen this morning. One article kept pointing out how ineffective the Senators have been on offense this year, stating what everyone already knows. The Ottawa Sun is "reporting" much of the same, and even included an article on Antoine Vermette Smashing his stick. As if we didn't already know this team was frustrated, thanks for the obvious!
Senate's Note: Really the only interesting information was found in the Citizen:
The Senators will be looking south to Binghamton of the American Hockey League for help for tomorrow's game against the Thrashers.
Picard (wrist) and forwards Dean McAmmond (sore throat), Chris Neil (knee) and Ryan Shannon (concussion) are not expected to play.
Cody Bass was recalled yesterday, but the Senators will still need another body, likely someone such as Ilya Zubov.
McAmmond was the only one of the group who didn't skate yesterday. Neil, recovering from knee surgery, and Picard skated apart from the team, while Shannon skated with the team, but he still needs clearance from team doctors before he can play again.
