Wednesday Morning Wrap-Up

Another day of chronicling the Senators struggles this year in the Ottawa Citizen. The Ottawa Sun had an article on Martin Gerber and an article on Antoine Vermette being put on a line with Mike Fisher.  For once it appears as if the Sun had better Senators coverage than the Citizen!

Senate's Note: Good to see that Gerber knows well enough to wait for a chance to play and not become a distraction.  Prediction of the lines for tonight courtesy of the Citizen:
The big trio of Alfredsson, Dany Heatley and Jason Spezza will stay together, but Shean Donovan will join Mike Fisher and Antoine Vermette, and Nick Foligno will be with Chris Kelly and Jesse Winchester.
Also a funny OT article can be found here on Sean Avery.  I like the fact that Elisha Cuthbert can date good looking movie stars (or models) and yet being the good Canadian girl that she is, she chooses to date hockey players. Puck bunnies are great!  Especially good looking rich ones who clearly do not care about looks (cough Dion Phaneuf, you ugly, ugly man).

Foligno is a leader type (a creative player) plays better with the lesser lights (read Kelly). Will score or set up the big goal tonight.
