The Daily Wrap Up - Tuesday January 13, 2009

The Guardian - Ottawa Senators head coach Craig Hartsburg will juggle the Senators powerplay tonight to get bodies in front of the net. Dany Heatley, Antoine Vermette and Nick Foligno will be on a unit together, while Daniel Alfredsson will be with Jason Spezza, and Chris Neil or Mike Fisher.
“When (Heatley, Alfredsson, and Spezza) play together, they’re on the perimeter too much and not enough people in front of the net,” Hartsburg said. “So we’ll make a change and try to create to more garbage around the net and get more pucks to the net.”
The powerplay has been a huge disappointment this year, and that is one area that started off so well for the Senators. Now, like everything else on the team, it is in a slump and things need to be changed to get out of it. I don't like splitting up the big three though, put the best talent together and let them work it out!

Docsports.com - Well at least someone out there believes the Senators can still win the cup.  Good ole Bodog, looking to make a dollar off a long shot team.
28) Ottawa Senators (24) 85/1 - Las Vegas still believes this Senators team has a chance to make a run. I just do not see it happening. The team has rarely been able to hold leads after two periods and when it does it is worst in the NHL when it comes to closing out a game

I'm honestly shocked that the odds are only 85 to 1, its actually horrible value has only the slightest chance of getting into the playoffs.  I find it very humorous that the Leafs are considered 200 to 1 on winning the cup.  Even in a year where they beat expectations and are doing better than the Senators, they still are apparently a longer shot to win the cup.

And that's the daily wrap up!
