The Senators' fall from the Stanley Cup final of 2007 to the nether regions of the standings as the lowest-scoring team in the NHL really is prize worthy. The only team to come close to being as disappointing is Ottawa's expansion partner, the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Well, I really can't argue with that article as the team is severely underperforming. Any team with the likes of Spezza, Heatley and Alfredsson shouldn't be anywhere near the bottom of the league in scoring. Tampa is also mentioned as being close to Ottawa in terms of disappointment, but I would argue they are more disappointing, given the amount of hype that surrounded the team in the offseason.
Canada.com - Apparently Rob Vanstone just bought a new pair of hindsight 20/20 glasses and decided to use them while ripping into Craig Hartsburg.

Thank you Mr. Vanstone for your informed oppinion on the matter, but I am pretty sure that the people who hired Craig have a little bit more insight into hockey than you do. It was not quite as obvious as you have stated it to be, nor is it wholly factual that it is entirely the fault of Craig. But thank you for trying to place the entire team's failure on the back of the coach.
