Quick Hit: Interesting Stats From Yesterday

Ottawa Senators

Hits: 25

Pittsburgh Penguins
Average shift length (top line): 60 seconds

Generally speaking these stats alone will not win you games, but talk to any coach and they will tell you that the doing the small things right will pay dividends down the road. For now it appears as if the Senators are doing all the little things right, so hopefully they can continue and make a push up the standings!

I agree. Did all the little things right yeaterday. And just enough of the big thing. Now all they need is to get some secondary scoring, and pmd WITHOUT giving up picks or prospects and we'll be laughing. It doesn't have to be some mega-trade for J-Bo. Just some lower profile guys who can get the job done and not cost picks.
