Senate's Note: The Senators lackluster performance is beginning to look like a trend against sub-par teams, and the statistics don't lie. Two losses to Florida and three to the Islanders are inexcusable, and completely avoidable. Generally speaking goaltending has not been an issue this year, but Alex Auld had a terrible performance tonight as he let in a weak goal in overtime and two more during regulation.
In the end, the Senators did not keep it simple, did not follow Brannigans Law, and it ended up coming back to haunt them in overtime.
