The Daily Wrap Up - Monday January 26, 2009

The all-star weekend is over.  Great! Back to the regular season and good hockey.

Canoe.ca - This just in, a rumour involving Martin Gerber! and it's about a team actually wanting to pay him money instead of Ottawa trying to find ways not to.
The Flames are rumoured to be considering bringing the veteran in as insurance in case workhorse Miikka Kiprusoff succumbs to a late-season injury.
We'll even give you a shooter tutor, in case he doesn't workout as anticipated.

TorontoSun.ca - Ottawa will be getting an all-star game sometime in the future, possibly 2012.
Eugene was promised an all-star game when he bought the team and there has just been a series of circumstances that have pre-empted us from getting the game," said Mlakar, who was in Montreal for these all-star festivities.

I've always wondered if maybe the all-star game would actually be intereting should I happen to be at the game. Maybe I can find out, or maybe I will find 20 different excuses to not waste money going to watch a bad game of shinny.  Either way, It looks like it's coming to Ottawa.
